NEED TO KNOW
- This business is not easily accessed by public transport and is located in the Grantville area of Victoria – an easy 45 minutes from Dandenong, Pakenham, Frankston and 20 Minutes from San Remo
- You will be required to work a rotating roster that will every 2nd weekend
You will be required to work over School Holidays and Public Holidays (the busiest times for this business) - Very few finishes past 5:30pm (occasional evening shift for pre-booked functions)
- Free on-site parking
- Work with a family owned business that cares about their team
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the shift that includes accepting bookings, managing team breaks, ensuring that tour groups are checked into the venue correctly, taking payments…. and assisting in the onsite cafe/bistro as needed.
You need;
- to have basic computer skills
ability to use POS systems (experience in IdealPOS or similar a bonus) - the ability to think on your feet, to engage with those from non-English speaking backgrounds and work well under pressure
- the want to grow your own career
- the ability to work across public holidays and school holidays (the busiest times of the year for the business)
- Willingness to obtain a WWCC, Police Check and RSA on appointment to the role
be able to work in a small team, and ensure a harmonious work environment - Jump in an assist in the bistro as needed (having some barista skills or other hospitality is a bonus)
